(no subject)

It's cold, it's windy, and we have 24 inches of snow. Plus, the snow has now drifted into banks about as high as my neighbor's window.

To put this in perpective, we had 7.5 inches the entire winter last winter.

I have no idea if my sister is going to make it for Christmas. She started her treck from Madison this morning (she was going to come last night) and the interstates are closed all over Indiana.

But since the Madison-Jasper route goes mostly though Illinois and only cuts though to Indiana to Terra Hute or Vincences, there's still hope. But since the southern section of Indiana is the bad part, and since it's all backroads...

Maybe we should go see her instead, because everytime she drives down she gets in a massive winter storm.

Plus the little kid I shopped for didn't get his presents for Christmas.

Now, I must shovel so I can get to the store.

Huh. We've got barely 1/2 inch of snow. It's more like early- to mid-November here that Christmas.

Bah Humbug.

I can send you some snow if you want.

Yes, I'd like that, actually. Having this little snow on Christmas is just depressing.
