I tried watching Supernatural again. I cannot get into it. I watched a few episodes, and the only one that did not make me want to spit nails was "Asylum" though the world building in "Lazarus Rising" made me happy. I'm going to give it one more crack, as I've heard things about "The Monster at the End of the Book" that have perked up my ears.

My crankiness is amplified as I have a headache that's kept me down for most of the day. The visions of what happened to the psychic in "Lazarus Rising" did not improve my mood.

I do love Supernatural, though I agree that some of the episode plots can be a little hit-or-miss. Whatever you do, though, don't watch either of the vampire episodes ("Bloodlust" and "Dead Man's Blood"), they completely butcher every vampire myth ever. I think there are quite a few good episodes in seasons 1 and 2, and I'd start there if I were trying to get someone into the show.

Have to agree about "Lazarus Rising". . . not an uplifting episode, to say the least.

I'm definately skipping the vampire episodes. Most of the episodes I've watched have been from season one, and they've been fairly decent.
