WHY AREN'T YOU LETTING ME LOG IN IU AUDIOTORIUM! ALL THE SHOWS ARE PROBABLY FILLED UP NOW, AND NOW I'LL HAVE TO SHELL OUT GOOD CASH TO SEE THE PRODUCERS IF I DON'T WANT TO GET VERTIGO!

The slots for show volunteering fill up in the first, oh, 15 minutes or so. Last fall it filled up in the first five. I sent out an email begging them to let me volunteer somehow in the theatre, but I just might do some work for the spanish language theatre instead if I can't do anything Except I flaked on the callout. No, I don't have any pride when it comes to theatre work, and I do whore myself out to do it. You should see the insanity actors have to deal with.

i like how sex for money is called prostitution, whoring, all these dirty buzzwords, and a person's valuable time spent in a mind-numbing, uninspiring box eight hours a day, sometimes more, is called a job, a decent day's work. at least people NEED sex. you don't need to advertise it. it sells itself. people aren't born with the instinct to sit in a cubicle or work a french fryer.

\end self-indulgence X3

aw, now i'm nostalgic for tech crew. ;_; (AND acting) i worked in a theatre my senior year of high school, but never got called in very much. i got to work spotlight only once. *sob* i liked being all high up above the seats. ^^ dance competitions were also fun, if long with frequent moments of panicked stress.

'Cause everyone likes to pick on the lady of the night when all they really want to do is fuck her. Is the same idea about teasing people you want to take out?

Yeah, that was the Spanish theatre job, doing tech work or backstage stuff. It is lots of fun, it's just hard to do for cash. I only did spot once, but I liked pushing the buttons on the light board better. = )
