a user hostile experience

I conquered the Adobe .epub DMR, and now I can read my new, shiny Jeeves & Wooster collections on my Kindle. I cannot fucking wait for Adobe's DMR to be cracked. I forgot to mention the new toy I got for Christmas. Well, two new toys, as I also got ear-flapping Eeyore which sings "If you're happy and you know it" and "If your ears hang low" suitably edited to a plush that flaps it's ears.

Yes, it really is that awesome.

The other new toy is a Kindle 2. I very originally named it Firestarter. I've been playing around with all the various features, with free books I downloaded. I also figured the best way to format fic for it. I downloaded Calibre, and I've been running the .pdf files though it and I'm pleased with the results.

My only complaint was one book was taking hours and hours to convert to .mobi, and then I looked closer and noticed the .pdf file was over a thousand pages long.
