I just noticed that I spell armour, well, armour. I can't think of why though. The only thing I know it has nothing to do with is my current over-consumption of British media as I've been spelling it that way for as long as I can remember which predates just about everything except for Sherlock Holmes, and possibley Absoulutely Fabulous, and Two Fat Ladies.

Because it makes sense, and the American spelling doesn't.

I don't know, plow makes far more sense than plough to me. = )

Though, lingusticaly speaking, the spelling of words like centre makes far more sense than center as one says [r] [e] than the other way 'round.

What's driving me batty is that it's the only British varient spelling I use other than theatre, and that's just beause I got tired of people bitching me out for using theater. (It also gives me a handy way of difrentioning a movie theater and a stage theatre without having to use more than one word.) And proper nouns, but that's just common sense.

Well, what I learned about the difference between 'theatre' and 'theater':

Theater: The venue
Theatre: The art

That's an idea that I had before, and I still got complaints about it. *twitches*
